A year in review



A review of what the SaCC team
on the Central Coast
has achieved in 2024


Some of our major achievements over the 2024 year.

Total number of adults and children engaged across the centres  - 1462
Total number of children 0-8 years who attended the centres  - 786
Number of Grand parents attending - 27
Number of Culturally and Linguistically diverse families who attended the centres - 136
coming from a total of 48 different countries.
Number of Aboriginal / Torres Strait Islander children attended - 107
With a total of 46 groups being ran over the coast for local families to attend free of charge.

We facilitated a range of groups for families across the coast including:
Parenting programs, playgroups, sensory play, baby massage and yoga, gross motor programs, speech therapy play groups, music groups and transition to school programs.

 Jabiru Cottage Northlakes SaCC has upgraded the outdoor area with the addition of a new deck, shade umbrella  to provide some shade for families whilst playing outdoors.
 Barayi Gandu Bush Tucker Garden was established with the help of Bunnings Lake Haven providing the edible bush tucker plants and helping to plant the garden.
